Viking Football 2009 (Mitch)

Mitch had a great season.
Now I can't tell you all the details
because I didn't make it to every game,
but his team improved form last year
and he LOVES the game so what more
can a mother ask for...
except for no injuries.
So prepare for a long post
as I share a few highlight with you.

I love this photo for several reasons.
The first being that Coach Shamo was one
of their coaches and father of the boy's face that you can see.
Well he died of a heart attack after their first game.
Very sad...so the team wore wristbands everygame honoring him.
It really ended bringing the team together.

Being Thankful

This was Joshua's first day
of school this year...August 2009.
He had an unwanted visitor
the 24hr flu!I am so thankful it wasn't anything worse
and that so far we have escaped any other
unwanted guests!
(Knock on wood!)...

Moving Up

So I am a little behind in posting,
so I am going to rewind back a few months to
significant events.
1) Josh received his wolf badge
and I am no longer a den leader after 3 yrs2) Mitchell received his arrow of light and his all 21 award
Ben is his leader working with the 11 yr old scouts.
They are both way excited!
(Me too - means less scout work for me!!)
I am Proud of both of them.Way to go boys. Only one more boy to begin, Thankfully I have a few years!

Meg

Megan is a mean soccer player
Every season she gets better and better! Here she is with a couple of the BYU girl soccer team.
She loves going to events with them and attending their home games.
Which thanks to Ben grabbing Free ticket has been a fun activity
Meg playing forward. She is a monster on the field.

And with those Hutchins' legs of hers she is quick.
One of her coaches a few years back nick-named her LEGS!
Love this Girl!!
