Miracles Never Cease

Santa brought Ethan a puppy for Christmas... and it has been a wonderful experience to see him carry him all around the house.  The miracle is that Ethan struggles to go to bed by himself without someone laying down with him, and tonight he took his puppy and put himself down.  I peeked in on him a couple of times and at one point he had Will (puppy) in his lap and was reading him a book.  I checked back 20 minutes later and he had put Will back in his crate up on his bed, turned the light out and he and the puppy were both fast asleep.  Here's  hoping this is a tradition in the making :)

Viking Football 2009 (Mitch)

Mitch had a great season.
Now I can't tell you all the details
because I didn't make it to every game,
but his team improved form last year
and he LOVES the game so what more
can a mother ask for...
except for no injuries.
So prepare for a long post
as I share a few highlight with you.

I love this photo for several reasons.
The first being that Coach Shamo was one
of their coaches and father of the boy's face that you can see.
Well he died of a heart attack after their first game.
Very sad...so the team wore wristbands everygame honoring him.
It really ended bringing the team together.

the 24hr flu!I am so thankful it wasn't anything worse
and that so far we have escaped any other
unwanted guests!
